First steps

FratmScript is JavaScript with Neapolitan keywords. The compiler turns your code into plain JavaScript that runs anywhere: in the browser, in Node, here in the playground.

stamm a dì(…) prints a line to the console: it is JavaScript's console.log. It takes several values separated by commas. avvis a dì and scrive a dì print warnings and errors (console.warn, console.error).

Comments work as in JavaScript: // to the end of the line or /* … */. No semicolons needed: a new line ends a statement.

// stamm a dì stampa una riga nella console (console.log)
stamm a dì("Uè, munno!")
stamm a dì("Pizze:", 3, "Pronte:", overo)

// avvis a dì e scrive a dì stampano avvisi ed errori
avvis a dì("Attento, 'o furno è caldo")
